Thyriss R. (Tyee) Munford, 81, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on January 7, 2016. He retired from US Postal Service and was a member of Westwood Presbyterian Church. Tyee was a Navy and Army Veteran.
Tyee was born on January 11, 1934, Louisville, Kentucky to the late Howard and Irene (Furman) Munford. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (McMillan) Munford and his daughter, Laraine Munford.
Tyee is survived by his daughter, Thyriss P. "TP" Coleman; grandson, Xavier Coleman; great-grandson, Kobe Coleman; and good friend, Judith Frazier.
Upon Tyee's wishes, there will be no visitation and a private service.
