Thomas Williams Jr (Tommy), passed away on July 29, 2024 at 74 years old. He was a beloved father, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Tommy was born on August 15, 1949 in Louisville, KY, where he remained his whole life. He graduated from Ahrens Trade High School, served in the Army, attended the University of Louisville and later became a police officer at the Louisville Police Department where he served for 30 years. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others. In his free time, Tommy enjoyed horse racing, was an active member of The Way International, and enjoyed sharing his faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Norma Williams and his brother Robert Williams. Tommy is survived by his children, Thomas (Shelley) Williams, Rayna (Jonathon) Vergiels and Brandon (Amy) Williams; his grandchildren, Micheal (Chazy) Wheatley, Kayla (Jacob) Chandler, Jacob Williams, Sarah Williams, Brandon Williams, Cameron Williams and Henry Williams; great grandson, Asher Wheatley; and his brother, John (Charlotte) Williams. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

A celebration of his life will be held for family and friends on August 8th 10am-12:00pm at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville KY, 40291.
