Thomas Ray Vandgrift

Thomas Ray "Tommy" Vandgrift, 58, of Louisville, KY passed away on February 18, 2017. He was an avid NASCAR and dedicated UK basketball fan. Spending time with his children and grandchildren brought great joy to Tommy. He was always there for others and loved to make you laugh.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Vandgrift; brothers, Kendall and Steve Vandgrift.

Tommy was survived by his wife, Alicia Vandgrift; children, Nick Vandgrift, Kristan (Josh) Harmon, Stephanie (Jason) Hobgood, Ashlea Vandgrift, Christa Gaskill and Jessica (Devin) Clarke; 12 grandchildren; father, Henry Vandgrift; sisters, Tammy Vandgrift and Debbie Belcher and brother, Kevin Manning.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) from 3pm-8pm. A celebration of Tommy's life will be Friday, February 24, 2017, at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home beginning at 1pm.
