Thomas Morton Smith, Jr.

Thomas Morton "Mr. Tee" Smith, Jr., 67, of Louisville, KY passed away on March 11, 2018. He was a decorated U.S. Army veteran. He served as an Associate Minister at Guiding Star Baptist Church. Thomas retired from Hazelwood Center as a Kentucky State Worker.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Morton Smith, Sr.; wife, Sherlice Smith; sister, Melvina Smith; great granddaughters, Aivah Nolan and Nevaeh White.

Thomas is survived by his children, Thomas M. Smith, III, Jessica R. Smith, DeShawn E. (Rosalyn) Smith, LaTonya D. Small, LaDonna D. White and Jamar Randall, Sr.; grandchildren, Byrone M. Smith, Thomas M. Smith, IV, Alexis K. Smith, Der'Quiona Mobley, Marvin Nolan, III, Michael Blackshire, Jr. Gerron White, Tyeasha White, William Small, Desiree Miller, Kamara White, Ter'Miracle White, Jamar Randall, Jr. and Jazauria Randall; great-grandchildren, Aiyah Nolan, Mia White, Aiden White, Za'Niyah Kilgore, Jonathan Huffman, Jr., DeMylah Fenwick, and Dallas Wright; mother, Bessie Nell Foley Smith; siblings, Mariam Smith, Kerry Smith, Tina Walter, Kim Smith, April Smith, Pamela Young, Keith Smith and Cathy Smith a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 16, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY from 10am-11:30am with a celebration of Thomas' life beginning at 11:30am.

Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central, 2501 N. Dixie Highway, Radcliff, KY beginning at 1:30pm.
