Thomas Ray "Tommy" Lawson, 59, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed working on vehicles. Tommy also liked shooting pool and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was born on June 20, 1964 in New Albany, Indiana to Robert Lawson and the late Betty (Caudill) Lawson. In addition to his mother, Tommy was preceded in death by his sister, Holly Larberg.

Along with his father, Tommy is survived by his wife, Kelly (White) Lawson; brothers, Terry (Becky), Clifford Lawson; niece, Lisa Larberg; nephew, Brandon Lawson; and his four-legged companions, Lacy and Brisco.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens in New Albany.
