Thomas Roy Lansberg

Thomas Roy Lansberg, age 55, of Louisville, Kentucky, left this world on Thursday, October 3, 2024. Born on February 22, 1969, in Michigan City, Indiana, he was the cherished son of Richard Lansberg and Betty (Pitts) Wilson.  He is preceded in death by his father and his wife, Missy Lansberg, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Thomas is survived by his devoted mother, Betty Jean Wilson; his brother, Jon (Tyrra) Lansberg; his caring aunt, Sheila Spears; and his uncle, Thomas (Diana) Pitts. Each of them holds dear the moments shared with Thomas, moments filled with laughter and warmth.

With a heart that overflowed with kindness, Thomas's gentle spirit touched the lives of many. He had a remarkable sense of humor that could light up any room. A true caregiver at heart, he had an unwavering love for all animals, a passion for NASCAR, and an impressive knowledge of classic television shows. These cherished traits made him a unique soul and an irreplaceable presence in the lives of his family and friends.

In honor of Thomas's life, his family will be celebrating his memory privately, holding close the love they shared. They ask that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Kentucky Humane Society, a cause that was dear to Thomas's heart.
