Thomas Allen Himebaugh Jr., affectionately known as "Stainless Tom," departed this life on February 1, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on February 8, 1961, in Corydon, Indiana, he spent his life manifesting his passion for creativity and craftsmanship.

As a business owner of Tom's Custom Stainless, Thomas dedicated himself to engineering, designing, manufacturing, fabrication, and sheet metal work. He began this endeavor at a young age, fueled by the aspiration to build something unique and exceptional. His work was not merely a profession but a reflection of his artistic spirit, which also found expression in his love for painting, music, and varied projects around his camp site in Perry County.

A man of many interests, Thomas enjoyed the company of others, any type being welcome. He had a special fondness for music, often found strumming his guitar and resonating with the sounds of legends like the Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, and Kiss. His vibrant personality and ability to connect with people left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Thomas found joy in his family. He is survived by his brother, Mike (Rhonda) Himebaugh; sisters, Melissa Grether, Tina (Danny) Leach, and Suzette "Suzie" (Mike) Pickerill; as well as a son he never had, DJ (Haley) Leach. He cherished his nine nieces and nephews and seventeen great nieces and nephews. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by his stepfather, Dennis Pickerill.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Allen Himebaugh Sr. and Dianna Pickerill, as well as his niece, Amanda Himebaugh, and nephew, Kamm Vangilder.
