Thomas Patrick Atwell

Thomas "Tommy" Patrick Atwell, 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026.

He was born on September 28, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Bruce and Mary (Chapman) Atwell.

Tommy was a Vietnam era Veteran in the United States Navy.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Susan Atwell; daughter, Brandy Atwell, step-son, John Harlan Stone (Jennifer), step-daughter, Sarah Jayne Petitt, grandchildren, Noah, Dakota, Abigail, Cole, Colin and sister, Theresa Karrer (Richard). He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Per Tommy's wishes cremation was chosen and a private celebration will be held at a later date.
