Theresa (Terri) Marie Rohrman Wilson, passed away at Norton Hospital on January 8, 2026, at the age of 77 after years of struggle with many health problems.
Born in Minneapolis, MN, Terri lived in Denver, CO and Lafayette, IN before attending Purdue University. After obtaining a nursing degree, she married Bill Wilson, and settled in Louisville, KY, where they raised two daughters, Audra and Monica. She was a registered nurse, first at Methodist Evangelical Hospital, and then Norton Hospital downtown, in a career spanning forty years.
Terri was an involved member of St. Polycarp Parish, now St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, as a choir member, director of the Fund of Love Benefit Show, part time kindergarten assistant, and parish picnic worker for many years before poor health kept her mostly at home.
She loved camping, and later spending time with her family at Rough River Lake. Cooking was her favorite part of family holidays. She was a good listener and a supportive friend, as well as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Wilson, as well as her father, Joseph Warren Rohrman; mother, Lorraine Ellen Rohrman; and brother, David Charles Rohrman.
In addition to her daughters, Audra (Phillip) Barnett and Monica (Michael) Ganoe, she leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Sydney Ganoe, Rachel Ganoe, Sam Barnett, and Rebekah Barnett. Her legacy will continue through many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Terri's life during visitation on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions in Terri's memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or St. Andrew Academy.
