Theresa "Teri" Lynn Savage

Theresa "Teri" Lynn Savage, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on February 20, 2026. Teri was a cherished wife, mother, sister, and beloved Grandma Teri to her grandchildren. A free spirit, she had a profound love for the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, traveling, and creating lasting memories with her family. Her warm heart touched many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on September 24, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Teri was the daughter of Leon and Patricia (McAuliffe) Higgins. She is preceded in death by her father, Leon Ray Higgins; her mother, Patricia Ann Higgins; her brother, Tom Higgins; and her sister, Donna Higgins.

Teri is survived by her devoted husband of 39 years, Mike Savage; her son, Richard (Britney) Gosselin; her daughters, Christina (Dereck) Hamilton and Melanie Snyder; her brother, Larry (Donna) Higgins; her sister, Susan Garcia; her mother-in-law, Patricia Hall; along with ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also remembered by a wide circle of extended family and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
