Theresa Gail Montgomery

Theresa Gail Montgomery, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Theresa was a loving and devoted mother, Maw Maw/Mal Mal, and friend. She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed listening to music, especially her favorite artists. Most importantly, Theresa dedicated her life to caring for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on January 7, 1954 in Huntington, West Virginia to Marie (Rowe) Tackett. She is preceded in death by her mother, Marie Louise Tackett; step-father, George Tackett; and brother, Taylor Randall Moulton.

Theresa is survived by her loving family, daughters, Mindy Lee Montgomery, Tammy Marie (Joshua) Gibson; grandchildren, Logan Stansbury, Trinity Stansbury, Emma Gibson, Hayden Gibson, Owen Gibson; as well as a host of loving friends to cherish her memory.
