Theresa Lee Davis

Theresa Lee Davis passed away on October 24, 2026, at the age of 57.

Theresa lived with a bold and unmistakable spirit. She was someone who filled a room with her personality, and those who knew her always knew what she was thinking. Her laugh was unforgettable, and her quick jokes had a way of making others laugh right along with her. Caring by nature, she opened her heart generously and became a bonus mom to the neighborhood kids, offering warmth, presence, and a sense of belonging that will be remembered with deep affection.

She worked at Photo Offset as an office manager, and also worked at Horseshoe Casino in Indiana and Marmadukes Bar. In every role and in every part of life, Theresa brought energy, capability, and determination. She could always do anything and was truly a jack of all trades. Her strength, her love, her spirit, and the way she lived life on her own terms are among the gifts she leaves behind.

Theresa loved to travel, to camp, and to embrace anything connected to the outdoors. She found joy in playing darts, shooting pool, and playing poker, and she especially treasured the simple happiness of spending time with her friends, hanging out, and having fun. She lived fully and honestly, with a vitality that drew people to her and made ordinary moments memorable.

Of all the things Theresa valued most, her proudest accomplishment was her family. That devotion stood at the center of her life and remains at the center of her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Wanda Lyons and her brothers, Donald "Paul" Lyons, II, Stephen Lyons and William "Luke" Lyons.

Theresa leaves behind her children, Kevin Davis and Kasey Davis; grandchildren Lorenz Sullivan and Layla Sullivan.; brothers, Doug (Donna) Lyons, Rick (Cheri) Lyons and Jim Lyons, companion; Tim Wiest and 11 nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held on October 30, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272. A funeral service will be held there the same day at 6:00 p.m.

Theresa Lee Davis will be remembered with love for her strength, her humor, her caring heart, and her fearless way of being herself. Her presence was vibrant, her spirit was unmistakable, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
