Theresa Marie (Backherms) Coble

Theresa Marie (Backherms) Coble, 63, of LaGrange, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017, as the result of a malignant brain tumor. She recently retired from The Rawlings Group where she was known as the "Elite Auditor." Theresa had a great sense of humor and possessed a fiery personality. She was intelligent and organized and always paid close attention to the details. Above all, Theresa was a great mother and grandmother.

She was born on July 3, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Donald Backherms, Jr., and Alice (Danner) McManus. Theresa was also preceded in death by her siblings, Susie and Denny Backherms.

Theresa is survived by her sons, Donald Coble, Sr. (Erika) and Nathan Coble (fiancé, Crystal Johnson); siblings, Donna Spencer (Derrick) and Donald Backherms, Jr.; grandchildren, Donald, Jr. (Falisity), Anna Marie, Greyson, Ronen, Brianna Theresa, and Jackson Coble; companion, Al Abuakleh; and close friend, Joanie Kleier.

Cremation was chosen following Theresa's wishes. A reception of family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Memorial Service taking place at 1:00 p.m.
