Theodore Taylor

Theodore "Ted" Taylor, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020. Ted was an avid University of Louisville fan. He loved music and could sing. Ted was a free hearted and jovial person. He was a hard worker and retired from the City of Louisville Sanitation Department. Ted will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on June 2, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Mary (Ammond) Taylor. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers, Henry Taylor, John Taylor, Walter Taylor, Charles Taylor, and George Taylor, Sisters, Dorothy Sartin, and Mary Morris.

Ted is survived by his, Daughter, Lisa Taylor, Sisters, Barbara Greenville, and Rev. Lillie Grinter, Brothers, Alvin (Lynetta) Taylor, and Wayne Taylor. Ted also leaves behind to cherish his memory 3 Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel.
