Theodore L. Harris
April 21, 1929 — June 4, 2015
Louisville, KY. – Theodore L. Harris Sr. (Ted) Harris, 86, died at 3:10 a.m. on Thursday, June 4th, 2015 in his home.
He was born in Louisville to the late Charles and Loretta (Desse) Harris. He married his wife of 55 years, who preceded him in death, Mary Jean (Nalley) Harris on November 11th, 1950. Mr. Harris loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be sadly missed by his family. He retired from E.I. DuPont, was a member of Flaget Alumini Association and long-time member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Survivors include his children, Debbie (Roy) Germano of Valencia, CA, Theodore L. Jr. (Rosie) of Upland, IN, Jackie (Denny) Powell, Patrick (Alison), Mary Jean (Denny) Wilbert of Celina, TN, Charles (Irene) of LaPorte, TX, Michelle (Jim) Wunderlin and Stephanie (David) May of Hebron, KY; 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren with one on the way and several nieces and nephews.
Welcoming him home to his eternal home are those who preceded him in death; his wife of 55 years Mary Jean (Nalley) Harris, parents Charles and Loretta Harris, brothers, George, Jack and Charles Harris and a sister, Cissy Harris.
Viewing will be held on June 8th, 2015 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Albert the Great (1395 Girard Dr, Louisville, KY 40222) with his funeral mass immediately following.
