Theodore Edward Brown

January 8, 1946 — August 22, 2016

Theodore Edward "Ted" Brown, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 22, 2016. Ted graduated from Male High School and from Eastern Kentucky University. He retired from Allstate Insurance Company as an Insurance Adjuster for over 30 years. Ted was an avid University of Louisville Fan. He was a great father, grandfather, and brother.

Theodore was born on January 8, 1946, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late John Henry and Ella Rose (Brown) Ponder was also preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Ponder.

Theodore is survived by his children, Robin Brown-Miller and Darryl Brown; grandchildren, Aaron, April, Kaylyn, Tiana, Jerrin, and Kia; great-grandchildren, Amaire, Tailayah, Kaileigh, Kyleigh, Dailyn, Daykel, and Taden; sisters, Emily Ponder-Tutson; Bertha Ponder-Bolden, and Johnella Wimberly-Bryson (Kent Bryson); and a host of nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday, August 26, 2016 at Cable Baptist Church (314 S. Wenzel Street, Louisville, KY 40204). His Funeral Ceremony will follow visitation at 12:00 pm at the church. Burial will be at Louisville Cemetery (1339 Poplar Level Rd, Louisville, KY 40217).
