Thelma Vano

Thelma Vano, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017. She was born in Tubigon, Philippines on September 8, 1946 to the late Esperidion Batausa and Gregoria Salomon. Growing up in a family of 13 kids (5 of which died young) was a bit tough which molded her into the strong mother/woman she was.

Thelma found love with Noah Vano and married him at the age of 29. Their bittersweet marriage ended soon when Noah died in 1982, leaving her with their posthumous baby girl and 3 boys, ages 6, 5, and 1.

Thelma is survived by her beloved children, King Randolf B. Vano, Earl Richard B. Vano, Lord Ronald Vano , Lady Noalette Vano Acenas ; a sister, Susan Drugley; and a host of other family members and friends.

A visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272 burial will take place at in Tubigon, Bohol Cemetery in Philippines. Arrangements in the Philippines are under the direction of St. Peters Chapels- Tubigon, Macaas, Tubigon Bohol Philippines.
