Thelma Weller Smith, 89, of Okolona, KY passed into heaven on November 4, 2017, six weeks shy of her 90th birthday. She was a member of LifeBridge Christian Church.
Thelma was born on December 18, 1927, Louisville, KY to the late Manson and Blanche Weller.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Eugene H. Smith; children, Sandra L. Smith, Sheri L. Sexton (Rick), Ronald G. Smith (Linda), Barry Dale Smith (Robin); 8 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243), with a Celebration of Thelma's life to follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LifeBridge Christian Church (P.O. Box 91914, Louisville, KY 40291)
