Thelma Mae Triplett Knox, 82, of Memphis, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021.
She was born on June 10, 1938 in Elkins, West Virginia to the late Henry and Oka Reta Triplett. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Edgar Knox; sister, Mary Lou Chenoweth; brother, John Triplett; and grandson, Joseph William Knox.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Russell) Smith; daughter, Pamela Holly; son, William "Billy" Knox; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Cremation was chosen following Thelma's wishes.
The family requests that contributions in Thelma's memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
