Thaddeus Michael Cronen, 57, of Louisville, Kentucky, entered into heaven and received his angel wings on Sunday, January 17, 2021. He was born on May 9, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late James and Patricia Cronen. Thad proudly served in the United States Army Reserves. He looked up greatly to his late father, James Cronen, who was a retired LTC in the Army and served with the First of the Ninth Cavalry in Vietnam. He often attended reunions for the veterans that served with his Father as a way to continue his legacy and keep his memory alive. Every year he looked forward to bringing his family together for a reunion during Thunder Over Louisville! His family meant everything to him and he will be forever loved and cherished by them all.
In addition to his parents, Thad is preceded in death by his sisters, Pam Woods and Debbie Hodges; a son-in-law, Reggie Dunn; and a nephew, John Patrick Lozar.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kristin Dunn, Shannon (Shane) Vincent, Heather Cronen, Thaddeus Cronen II; grandchildren, Michael Eugene Cronen, Shane Michael Vincent, Gavin Michael Cronen, Shyann Aubrey Vincent, Roman Daniels and Michaelson Daniels; siblings, Dana Lozar and Jim Cronen; an aunt, Judy Hodge; and a host of extended family members and friends who all loved him dearly.
A service to celebrate his life will take place at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel. The family will accept guests for visitation prior to the service from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
