Terry Dean Striha, 61, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Terry was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force who served for 20 years and retired as a major. He then went on to become a UPS pilot and will be remembered as a devoted father and loving husband who loved animals, especially his Shorkies.
He was born on February 18, 1959, in Minot, North Dakota, to the late Clarence and Doris (Boyko) Striha. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Sandy Striha and Debbie Logan; and mother-in-law, Marianne Klobucar.
Terry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Laurie Ann Striha; daughter, Leighann (Logan) Thomas; and son, Steven (Kacie) Striha.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions and by the family's request, visitation and military honors will be kept private.
The family requests that contributions in Terry's memory be made to the New Albany-Floyd County Animal Shelter (215 W. Market St., New Albany, IN 47150).
