Terry Lee Brown, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on December 30, 2025, after a life defined by hard work, faith, and devotion to family. He was born on February 8, 1966, in Los Angeles, California.
Terry was a hardworking, kind, and resilient man whose life was marked by integrity, humor, and a protective spirit. A devoted father and true family man, he consistently put the needs of his loved ones before his own and lived with quiet strength and purpose.
He worked with both skill and pride as a cook, painter, and landscaper, approaching every task with diligence and care. Terry believed in earning his way, providing honestly, and doing meaningful work with his hands.
A faithful Christian and believer in Jesus Christ, Terry lived according to his faith and drew strength from God throughout his life. Scripture reflects the path he walked:
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7
He also found peace in the promise of Christ’s words:
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” — John 14:27
Terry is survived by his loving family, Life Partner, Cathy Cain, Son, Cody Lee Brown, Shirley Jones, Grandchildren, Tyler Jones, Zoey Cole, Siblings, Nina Moore, David (Paula) Brown, Kimberly (Jimmy) Schneider-King, Angie Brown-Wells, Steven Brown, Mickey Brown, Best Friend, Donnie "Pig" Hardin, along with extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
He is preceded in death by his parents Terry Brown Sr. and Clara (Milburne) Shuck.
He will be remembered for his loyalty, his laughter, his protective heart, and his unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the values he passed on.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor. Details will be announced at a later date.
