Teresa Gay Atwood

Teresa Gay Atwood, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Teresa was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and Mimi. She enjoyed spending time cooking, gardening, dancing, and shopping for her "treasures". She loved traveling, camping, and spending time at the lake. Most importantly, Teresa loved to spend time with her family making memories. Teresa will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on July 5, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Gene and Patricia (Graham) Dossey. She is preceded in death by her father, Gene Dossey; and mother, Patricia Gay Dossey.

Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Tim Atwood; sons, Ryan Robinson, Kyle Robinson; daughters, Amber (Mitchell Wright) Atwood, Courtney Atwood; sisters, Cynthia Dossey, Rhonda (Raymond) Browning; granddaughters, Mylee Wright, Skylyn Grider, Charlotte Wright, Adalyn Matthews; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of her life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel.
