Tena McNair

Tena Renee McNair, born April 26, 1961, in Dubuque, Iowa, departed to Heaven on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 5:40pm in Louisville, Kentucky. Tena lived in her “Tenacious Escape Cabin” located in Albany, Kentucky. She devoted the majority of her life supporting single parents and was founder of New Life Directions Ministries.

Tena McNair was survived by her siblings, Elizabeth Habib, Elaine Whiting, Lolita French, Clifford Grimm, and Charles Grimm; nieces and nephews, Sadge Habib, Brooke Whiting, Joshua Whiting, Krista Whiting, Anthony Habib, Cody Grimm, Austin Grimm, Aidan Coss, Elijah Grimm, and Emmeline Grimm.

On Friday, December 5, 2025, the Celebration of Life will begin with a visitation starting at 11:00am followed by the memorial service at 1:00pm at Chapel in the Woods located at 1407 Moser Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40299.
