Temple Marie Scott

Temple Marie Scott, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Temple was a loving mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend to all. She was a hard worker and very dedicated to everything she did. If she wasn't cleaning her house you could find her tending to her yard and garden. Family meant everything to her and she loved to have cookouts every weekend and just spend time with her family. Anyone that knew Temple they knew they could always count on her for anything. Temple will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on April 17, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to Porter and Lola (Chapman) Holmes. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lola Garrett, father, Porter Holmes, step-father, Ernie Garrett; siblings, Shirley Holmes, Betty Jean Lashley, Bonnie (Ralph) Logan, and Brenda Baron; grandparents, Robert (Daisey) Noe; niece, Andrea Marie Ksendzuk.

Temple is survived by her loving family, son, Brian Craig Ragland; grandchildren, Ashley Ragland and Andrew Tyler Ragland; sister, Roberta Lee Ksendzuk; niece, Donna (Dan) Exley; nephews, Marc (Nell) Ksendzuk, Greg (Amy) Lindley, and Robert Holmes. As well as a host of great-nieces and nephews, family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Memorial Service will be at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Temple's memory be made to American Cancer Society or a Local Humane Society.
