Ted Lee Alldaffer, 67, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was lovingly known by many as "Indiana Thunder" and "Tenacious T." He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and an unwavering devotion to his family.

He was born on July 5, 1958 in Ridgewood, New Jersey to the late Donald and Patsy (O'Brien) Alldaffer. He later moved to Florida for a few years until his family settled in Indiana. Ted faithfully served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Tempe Arizona Mission. His deep love for his Heavenly Father grew and became a guiding force in his life. His faith was evident in the way he lived-kind, humble and devoted. He worked in the oil fields of Oklahoma for two years and played football for the Oklahoma City Drillers, before returning home to Indiana. He then worked for Sysco Food Company until he retired.

Ted married the love of his life, Donna, and together they built a beautiful life centered around family. He was the proud father of five children, each of whom he loved deeply. Ted always put them first. He loved when his family gathered around the table sharing stories and treasured memories. There was always laughter and those memories will live on.

He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, warm smile and the kindness that he showed to everyone that he met. Ted always made people feel welcomed, valued and loved. His presence was comforting, his laughter contagious and his love unwavering. Ted found happiness in life's simple pleasures-relaxing in his recliner, spending time in his mancave with his family and friends while enjoying his big screen and Xbox, and cheering on his favorite teams, the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Hoosiers.

Ted is survived by his loving wife, Donna; children, Jill Spencer (Brendan), Ted Alldaffer II, Brooke Alldaffer, Bridgette Ormeno (Carlos), Faith Alldaffer; grandchildren, Payton, Britlyn, Lauren, Brent, Colt, Ted III, Dixie, Jacob, Olivia; brother, Gerald Alldaffer; and sister, Sondra Oliver.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1534 Slate Run Road, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.

Above all, Ted will be remembered for the immense love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his wife, children and grandchildren.
