Tavian Dawnshea Pointer, 27, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025.

She was born on February 18, 1998 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Tavian is survived by her loving family, Father, Monty Kristopher Pointer, Sr.; Siblings, Brittney Embry, Justis Smith, Emilio Lehmer, and Monty Pointer, Jr.; Grandparents, Helena Foster, Bonnie Embry, William Pointer; aunt, Kenya Rutherford; cousin, McKenzie Rutherford; as well as a host of family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Darrell Embry.

Visitation will be from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 12:30 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
