Tammy Lynn Baum, born on August 21, 1965, left this world on July 12, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and an unwavering spirit that touched the lives of many. Her journey was characterized by a remarkable dedication to service, starting at a tender age of 18 as she embarked on her long and illustrious career with the Louisville Metro Government. In her role as an administrative assistant at Electrical Maintenance, Tammy was known for her exceptional work ethic, frequently going above and beyond the call of duty and fostering a supportive atmosphere for her colleagues. Her radiant smile was infectious and unforgettable.
Tammy possessed a heart of gold, a precious soul whose selflessness knew no bounds. Her friends and family will forever cherish memories of the boundless love she bestowed upon them. Possessing an innate ability to uplift those around her, she was a wellspring of positive energy, always adorned with style, her hair impeccably done and her makeup artfully applied, exuding beauty both inside and out. She was a confidante and an unwavering friend, a person one could always count on in times of need.
Her passions illuminated her personality; foremost among them was her profound love for her children and grandchildren, whom she adored more than life itself. They were the light of her existence. Tammy found joy in doing fun and exciting activities with them, ensuring that her love was always felt in every shared moment. She also reveled in vibrant nights filled with Mexican food and margaritas, often surrounded by cherished friends and family, creating laughter-filled memories that would last a lifetime. Her enthusiasm extended to the thrill of NASCAR races and the excitement of slot machines, each moment a testament to her zest for life.
Tammy’s pride was reflected in her radiant tan and her treasured salon days—each facet of her life marked with care and attention. As we gather to honor her memory, we recall a woman who dedicated her life to caring for others, always placing their needs above her own.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Madeleine St. Clair and grandparents, George and Ora Herbig.
