Talmadge William Reel fondly remembered as Ben, was born April 2, 1937 only son to Everett and Sunshine Reel in Tyler, Texas. He had 3 sisters Marilyn, Linda, and Joan. Ben married Rebecca Henry in 1957. They were married for 57 years and had 5 children; K.C, Kynda, David, Philip, and Joshua. They have 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Ben trained as an auto mechanic and worked for several Ford and Chevrolet dealerships. He then started working for Ford Motor Company in 1967 and retired in 1997 after 30 years of service. He was a union auto worker (UAW), union representative, and alternate. In his younger days he drag raced corvettes, rode motor cross dirt bikes, flew airplanes, and served as a volunteer Policeman. He was ordained as a minister in 1996 by Kingsway Fellowship and was on the board of Reel Ministries.
Ben made 4 ministry tours to Israel, 1 ministry tour to Jamaica, and ministered across the U.S.A from California to Florida. He loved to sing gospel music and help Rebecca in the ministry. His passions were singing, fishing, mowing, making salsa, and jalapeño cornbread. He loved Israel and the Jewish people. He helped promote the first Night to Honor Israel in the tri-state area in 2007. He leaves behind a great legacy. He battled an 18 year long illness and went home to be with The Lord on October 27, 2015.

There will be a Memorial Celebration held on November 7, 2015 at 2PM at The Center at Providence Retirement Home, 4915 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
