Tahnesha Latrill (Brooks) Green, 44, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017. A loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend, Tahnesha enjoyed traveling and loved to cook.
She was born on January 12, 1973, in Muskegon, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her son, Jakada Brooks; father, Lee A. Stegall; maternal grandparents, Richard, Sr., and Ida Belle Brooks; and paternal grandparents, Lee, Sr., and Azeno Stegall.
Tahnesha is survived by her sons, Tyaris and Marshaun Brooks; parents, Debra and Anthony Redd; sister, De'Letra Shabazz (Kareem, Sr.); half-sister, Arneesta Blackshire; half-brother, Tyrese Moore (Markesha); step-sister, Tamika Watts; grandchildren, Nehemiah, Yaditza, Sebastion, Genesis, Jakada, and Kyree; nephews, Dwan, Jr., Kareem, Jr., and Adrian; niece, Khalilah; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home.
