Sylvia Smith, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019. Sylvia was an embroider who loved to sew. She was a van enthusiast and enjoyed Van Rallys where they would show off prize automobiles. Sylvia in her younger years enjoyed and participated in racing at the drag strip.

She was born on March 13, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Leo and Dolores (Barton) Doog's. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Sons, Billy Jo Smith, and Robert William Smith.

Sylvia is survived by her loving Husband of 46 years, William Smith, Sr., Daughter, Christie Smith, Sons, Michael Doog's, William Smith, Jr., and Darrel (Cheryl Ann Ratchford) Smith Jr., and Sisters, Mary Jane Selles, and Sharon Prewitt, Sister-In-Law, Joyce Ann Smith. Sylvia also leaves behind to cherish her memory Grandchildren, Aaliyah Smith, Michael Botto, and Christopher Smith, Niece, Tracey Mower, Cousin, Gwen Hutcheson, and a host of, Nieces Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Newcomer, Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions- Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). Her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.
