Crestwood

Suzanne Polizzi Dean, a cherished mother, devoted wife, and loving grandmother, passed away on June 23, 2025, in Crestwood, Kentucky, at the age of 71. Born on July 29, 1953, in Fairfield, California, Suzanne lived a life filled with compassion, creativity, and love for her family.

As a proud graduate of Wagner High School, her commitment to helping others was evident in both her professional life and her personal interactions. Known for her heartwarming compassion and honesty, she touched the lives of many who were fortunate enough to know her.

Suzanne's true joy came from the time spent with her family. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Robert Dean, and a proud mother to sons Cort Rulketter and John Rulketter. Her loving nature extended further as she embraced the roles of grandmother to Jacob and Kennedy Rulketter, and great-grandmother to little Santiago Rulketter. Watching her family grow and thrive was one of her proudest accomplishments, and she cherished every moment with them.

In addition to her familial bonds, Suzanne possessed an artistic spirit that shone bright. She reveled in expressing her creativity through painting and enjoyed making jewelry. More than anything, she took great pleasure in playful moments with her dogs. Her hobbies were a true reflection of her vibrant personality and her desire to spread joy wherever she went.

Suzanne is also remembered with love by her sisters, Laura Lutz and Julie (James) Fitzgerald, and treasured nieces, Haley Lutz, Jennifer Herron, and many loving friends and family. Her loving spirit lives on in each of them, woven into the fabric of their lives.

Suzanne joins her parents, Michael and Delores Polizzi, in peace. Her absence will be profoundly felt by all who loved her, as she leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and creativity that will continue to inspire those who were lucky enough to know her. As we remember Suzanne Polizzi Dean, we celebrate a life beautifully lived, marked by the steadfast love she offered to her family and friends. With her beloved family by her side during her final moments, she has left this world, carrying with her the hearts of those she cherished the most.

Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and receptions, East Chapel 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville KY, 40243, is entrusted with her arrangements.
