Wolczyk, Susan Mary 94, passed away on Wednesday, January 7 with her beloved husband by her side.
Sue (Sebastian) was born on December 1, 1920 the youngest of 7 children in Auburn, NY. She married her high school sweetheart and they moved to Louisville in 1949. She worked for many years as a beautician at St. Matthews Manor. She was a charter and active member of the Church of Ascension. She will always be remembered for her lively spirit, kind heart and ardent love of flowers and gardening.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 72 years, Aloysius F. Wolczyk; her sons Al F. Wolczyk Jr. (Jahn) and Corkey Wolczyk (Vicki); her daughters Carol Ash (Gary) and Pamela Krupp (Alan); 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Her memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17 at the Church of the Ascension, 4600 Lynnbrook Drive. There will be a gathering of friends and family after the mass at church.
The family would like to thank her dear friend Marie Krupp and her caregivers Sarah, Morgan, Anna, Mary and JoEllen for their exceptional and loving care.
