Susan Lee Adams

Susan Lee Adams, born April 7, 1954, peacefully passed away on May 15, 2026. Susan will be remembered for her sweet and kind nature, a remarkable quality that endeared her to all who knew her. Always ready to lend a helping hand, she embodied kindness in every aspect of her life.

Susan’s passions were many and reflected a deep appreciation for the world around her. An avid animal lover, she found joy and comfort in the company of her pets. Her love of the outdoors was evident in her fondness for camping and boating, activities that allowed her to immerse herself in nature’s beauty. Gardening and working with flowers were pursuits that brought her peace and satisfaction, and she delighted in nurturing living things, whether plants or animals.

A gifted cook and baker, Susan often shared her culinary talents with family and friends, filling homes and hearts with warmth and nourishment. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and joy will long be treasured.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nellie Turner and brothers, Rick Turner and Frankie Turner.

Susan leaves behind to cherish her memories, her sons, Richie (Robin) Allen and Brian Allen; grandchildren, Chris Allen, Jonathan Allen and Journee Griffin; great-granddaughter, Byrdie Allen; sisters, Jeannie (Terry) Carter and Nancy Brown and several nieces and nephews. 

Friends and family will gather to honor and celebrate Susan’s life on May 27, 2026, with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m till 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272, with a celebration of Susan's life beginning at 6pm. 

Susan Lee Adams’s enduring spirit and gentle soul leave a profound impact on those who were fortunate to know her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
