Susan Kay (Peek) Grube

Susan Kay (Peek) Grube, 72, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 30, 2019. She had a career as an administrative assistant that spanned many years, but more importantly she served as a loving caregiver to her family members and friends. Susan was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 1693 and had a soft spot in her heart for animals.

She was born on June 12, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Victor and Mary "Libby" (Whitten) Peek.

Susan is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Fred Grube; daughter, Beth Grube (fiancée, James Funkhouser); brothers, Victor Peek, Jr. (Dianna), Jack Peek (Tammy); and sister, Virginia Jolliff (Bob).

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel at the funeral home with private burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville.
