Susan D. Mooney, 70, passed away on April 1, 2015. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, dancing with the Hogwild Dancers and gardening. She was a devoted grandmother who cherished every minute with her grandchildren. She was the first woman in Kentucky to earn her insulators Journeyman's card.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Catherine Estill.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Mooney; daughters, Audrey (Jeff)Whitaker and Missy (Darren) Lukeas; grandchildren, Kathryn, Eric, Alex and Emily; brother, John (Rose) Estill and sister, Sharon Reesor.
Visitation will be Friday, April 3, 2015, from 4pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Susan's life will be Saturday, April 4, 2015, at 10am at Newcomer Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY.
