Susan Mahrt Belter, age 76 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday June 18th, 2019 following a heart attack, with her loving husband Paul, by her side. Susan would bring joy to any room with her sense of humor. She was a native of Missoula, Montana. She later moved to Junction City, Kansas, where she was working as an engraver for Lear Siegler and met her current husband. Eventually she moved to Cleveland, Ohio and then finally Louisville, Kentucky in 2001. She was an avid quilter and seamstress when not working for Hancock Fabrics from where she had retired. Susan is proceeded in death by her mother, Lorraine Mahrt; father, George Mahrt; husband, William Stack; and husband, Joseph Timmons.
Susan is survived by her husband, Paul Belter; sons, Raymond and Robert Stack; father in-law, Clement J. Belter; mother in-law, Caroline Belter; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
