Sun Cha Bahan

Sun Cha Bahan, (nee Kim) was born on May 9, 1942, in Seoul, Korea, and passed away on October 1, 2025. A devoted beautician, she dedicated most of her life to bringing beauty to others.

In 1966, Sun met the love of her life, Joseph Bahan Jr., with whom she shared a remarkable journey as husband and wife for an extraordinary 58 years. Together, they raised two sons, Michael (Christy) Bahan and William (Jennifer) Bahan. Sun was not just a mother but a beloved grandmother to: Tyler, Dylan, Zane, Abbey, Cassie, Emily, and Evan Bahan. Furthermore, she was a proud great-grandmother to Bentley Murphy and Harleen Bahan, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of her young ones.

Sun is also survived by her brothers, Chul Soo Kim and Chul Woong Kim, and her sisters, Young Cha Kim and Chung Hee Kim.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Tong Kun Kim and Tong Hui Yi.

Cremation was chosen following Sun's wishes.
