Sue Ann Tolhurst, aged 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on December 9, 2025.
Sue was the embodiment of love and devotion, cherished as a mother, sister, grandma, memaw, aunt, and friend. Her warm heart and vibrant spirit brought joy to all who knew her. She cherished every moment spent playing Bingo with friends and family, indulging in classic movies, exploring casinos, enjoying card games, and traveling to create beautiful memories. Sue especially adored her great-great-grandchildren, relishing the opportunity to share cherished stories from her life and impart wisdom to the younger generations. Her absence will leave a profound void in the hearts of those fortunate enough to experience her love.
Born on May 31, 1940, in Earlington, Kentucky, Sue was the beloved daughter of Herman Walker and Geneva (Bill) Howerton. She is reunited in spirit with her mother, Geneva (Bill) Howerton, her father, Herman Walker, her daughter, Susan Dickens, and her sister, Linda O'Bryan.
Sue’s legacy continues through her son, Raymond Tolhurst, her caring brothers, William Walker, David (Judah) Walker, and Rick (Shirley) Walker. She leaves behind a beautiful family, including granddaughters Staci (Jordan) McNair, Robyn (Beau) Garrison, Amber, and Annie, and grandsons Rick Pepper, Jack Tolhurst, Dylan, along with great-granddaughters Kristen (Eric) Frost, Caitlyn Conway, numerous other great-grandchildren great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to honor Sue’s memory during visitation on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
