Stuart Wayne "Fiddle" Fife, 57, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany and was known as a "jack of all trades" who could fix anything. Fiddle enjoyed music, animals, and flying, but he will always be remembered as a people-person who never met a stranger.
Fiddle was born on March 8, 1960, in New Albany, Indiana, to Beatrice "Bea" J. (Banet) and the late Stuart E. "Fiddle" Fife. Along with his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Debra Lynn "Debbie" (Kelley) Fife; son, Dalton S. Fife (Victoria Swartz); and many extended family members.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and will continue after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Edwardsville Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana.
