Stewart Kevin Powell, 57, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019.

He was born on April 17, 1962 in LaGrange, Kentucky to Delano and Barbara (Rose) Powell. He is preceded in death by his father, Delano Glenn Powell, brother Glenn Grant Powell, grandparents, Glenmore and Cleo Powell and Virgil and Lula Rose.

Stewart graduate from Oldham County High School, he served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years. He owned and operated A 1st Choice Renovations construction company and drove a truck for YRC Freight. Stewart was a member of Southeast Christian Church. He also loved boating, fishing and the outdoors. He always gave thanks to God for what he achieved in life.

Stewart is survived by his son, Stewart Michael Glenn Powell, daughter Sierra Capito, mother Barbara Dean Tague, sister Jennifer Barrickman (Darryl), niece and nephew Elaina and Jack Barrickman.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm on Friday, August 2, 2019 at The Chapel In The Wood, (1407 Moser Road Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow in Sulphur Cemetery in Sulphur, Kentucky.
