Steven Glenn Wooldridge

October 29, 1965 — July 6, 2018

Steven Glenn "Steve" Wooldridge, 52, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018, at his home. He was an avid fan and loved cheering on the UofL Cardinals. Steve enjoyed many things in life, especially golfing, coaching softball, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was born on October 29, 1965, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Francis "Wayne" Wooldridge and the late Carolyn (Dennison) Wooldridge.

Along with his father, Steve is survived by his wife, Suzanne E. (Garcia) Wooldridge; children, Amber Groover (Scott), Allison Wooldridge, Alex Wooldridge, Clarissa Barton (Josh), Megan Ellis (Caleb), and Vanessa Garcia; sisters, Kim Sutton (Larry), Pamela Wooldridge, and DeAnna Wooldridge; grandchildren, Alyssa, Ben, Sam, Hensleigh, Isaac, Nicolas, Vincent, Alice, Lucy, Ellie, Ivan, Max, Mariana, Love, Jesse, Robert, Jr., and Addy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Cremation will follow according to Steve's wishes.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation (P.O.Box 62066, Durham, North Carolina 27715).
