Steven Allen Wilson

Steven Allen Wilson "Coach Wilson" age 64, went to be with his lord and savior on Tuesday November, 23rd 2021 in Gaffney South Carolina. He was born April, 11th 1957 in Louisville Kentucky. He was, two time teacher of the year. His love for football was undeniable. He coached high school football, he lead his team to two state championships over his 22 year career. His heart was so big. While coaching, he also taught and worked with special needs children. He touched the lives of so many. He did all he could to improve the lives of others. His dream was to open his own Christian/Rehab facility and name it, my faith is stronger. He wanted to share the love and strength the lord had given him.

Steve is survived by his daughter, Ashley Warner-Wilson; son, Nolan Wilson (Jasmine); his loving parents, Marlene and Jerry Wilson; sisters, Tamara Bland and Karen McWilliams (Bodie); grandchildren, Aubrianna Maulden, Barron & Emery Wilson, nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.

He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be 2pm to 7pm on Sunday, December 5, 2021 and 9:30am to 11:00am on Monday, December 6th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of life for Steve will follow at 11am Monday there.
