Steven Douglas Reece, 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Steven left General Electric after many years of service to work at BJB Restoration.
He was born on December 31, 1949 in Oakland, California to Melvin and Sarah Reece.
Steven is survived by his Mother, Sarah Elizabeth Tubb, Father, Melvin Reece, Son, Bobby Lee Reece, Son, Christopher Douglas (Shadee) Reece, Brother, Terry Lee Reece, Grandchildren: Cody A. Reece, Christina Bradford, Christal D. Reece, Amber Ellison, and Derrick Ellison, two Great-Grandchildren, Nephew, Terry Reece, Jr., and Best Friend, Dianne L. Reece.
A gathering for Steven's family and friends will be from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of his life will be at 11:00 am on Monday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Pennsylvania Run Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
