Steven Michael Mumford, 62, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at his home. He was born on August 8, 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Narvin and Joyce (Chapell) Mumford. Steven worked in computer sales for many years. He was a talented musician and enjoyed golfing, cars, and aviation.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Narvin and Joyce Mumford. He is survived by Robin McDonald (Significant Other); his loving children, Christopher, Joshua, Adam, and Matthew Mumford; his sister, Kathy Mumford; and his former spouse, Jennifer Mumford; along with many friends and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). His Service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation before from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
