Steven Michael "Pole" Johnson, 42, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. He was born on August 19, 1977, in New Albany, Indiana. Pole was a gifted artist, lyricist, and emcee. He was an avid UK fan and movie lover.
Steven is survived by his loving daughter, Caydence Johnson; parents, Ronald and Linda Johnson; brother, Douglas (Judy) Johnson; brother, Kirk (Teri) Johnson; sister, Crystal Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 9, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Edwardsville (Tunnel Hill) Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pole's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society (PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718).
