Steven Douglas Evans Sr.

Steven Douglas Evans, Sr. 54, of Willisburg, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
He was born on April 22, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Dorothy "Kitty" (Leuenberger) Evans. He is preceded in death by his mother.
Steve was a former Master Plumber with KCC and currently with Excel. When Steve was not working he was spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Steve was strong and kind, a friend to all he met, with a passion for life like no other. His time on this earth was short, but he leaves behind a legacy like no other; a legacy of love, kindness and passion that will be carried on through the ones that loved him the most; his family.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Evans, father, James Eugene Evans, sons, Steven D. Evans, II and Dalston, grandchildren Raelyn, Kiera, Zayden, Skyla, siblings, James (Robin) Evans, Kelly Mullins, and Tina (Neil) Layne, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins that will miss him very much.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 5:30 pm on Sunday, at the funeral home.
