Steven Evans

Steven Evans, 53, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Steven was a member of Cove Baptist Church. He was avid Louisville Cardinals Fan. Steven enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, and a wonderful husband. He was always there to lend a helping hand, and a peacemaker of the family. Steven was a true human who showed everyone what unconditional love was.

He was born on June 28, 1966 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Jewell (Crane) Evans. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brother, Randy Evans, Nephews, Matthew Higdon, Nicholas Kennedy, and Mikel Kennedy, Brother-In-Laws, Chris Kennedy, and Calvin Votaw, Father-In-law, Jerry Agee.

Steven is survived by his loving Wife of 26 years, Gaye Evans, Daughters, Danielle (Michael) Anderson, Lindsey Evans-Lightle (Shaun, Sr. Giberson), and Leah Evans-Lightle, Sisters, Marsha Votaw, Tammy (Jim) Haines, Gail (Tim) Kennedy, and Sandy (Kevin) Hornback, Brothers, Greg Evans, and Chris (Olivia) Evans, Grandchildren, Mason Evans-Harris, Parker Evans-Lightle, Jacob Anderson, Shaun Giberson, Jr., Aaron Anderson, Makenzie Anderson, Brantley Giberson, Aubree Anderson, Evan Anderson, and Wade Giberson, Mother-In-Law whom he called his other mother, Donna (Luke) Dezarn, Brother-In-Laws, Jeff Agee, Brad (Rhonda) Agee, and Barret (Crystal) Agee.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
