Steven Allen Todd

Steven Allen Todd, born on May 18, 1952, in New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on September 3, 2024. He is remembered as a dedicated family man and a respected member of the community.

Steven graduated from New Albany High School and went on to have a fulfilling career as a General Foreman for Norfolk Southern Railroad, showcasing both his strong work ethic and commitment. His dedication to service extended beyond his career; he proudly served in the United States Coast Guard for two years, embodying the values of duty and honor.

A man of varied interests, Steven was passionate about hot rod cars, antiques, and auctions. He found great joy in fishing and spending time outdoors, often cherishing the moments shared with family and friends. His warmth and camaraderie will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife, Carolyn Todd; sons, Chris (Bridgette) Todd and David Todd; granddaughters, Jordynne (Zach) Russell and Aubrie Todd; great-granddaughter, Morgan; sisters, Diana Hartman and Patricia (Danny) Quinkert; aunt, Marjorie Metzger; uncle, Boyd Smith; three nephews; and many friends who held a special place in his heart.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Dale and Donna Louise Todd.

Visitation will be held on September 10, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southern Indiana, located at 3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150 and Wednesday, September 11, 2024 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The funeral service will take place on September 11, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.

Steven Allen Todd’s legacy will continue to live on through the love of his family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
