Steve Varney

Steve Varney, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Steve was a hard working and honorable man. He was an extraordinary father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed greatly. "Bite Me."

He was born on May 1, 1957 in Williamson, West Virginia to Bobby and Florine (Fannin) Varney. He is preceded in death by his mother, Florine Varney, father, Bobby Varney and sister, Sue Smith.

Steve is survived by his loving daughter, Amanda (Jeff), sons, David (Michelle), Chad (Krystal), signficant other, Lura Marquess, grandchildren, Kori, Sydney, Will, David, Waylon, Mitchell, Lonnie, great-grandchildren, Peyton, Brody and best friend, Derry.
